Indecent sexual affair in the offices of the Socialist Party in Albania

The discovery of the suspected pedophile Agron Cane, former brigadier commander

Agron Cane, a former 61 year old military officer and brigadier commander, had been part of the Socialist Party for a while. He worked at the office of MP Kokedhima in Saranda, where he used to take note of the demands coming from the citizens, mainly for jobs and complaints and he also filled the necessary documents to help them.

One of the persons who also sought help at the office of the Socialist Party was O.G, a widow, mother of four children, who suffered constant poverty in Saranda. Since the month of March, she was trying to find a job, but the secretary of the socialist MP didn’t consent to this if she didn’t offer him a sexual favor. The situation escalated when the unscrupulous official asked her to offer him his 14 year old daughter for sexual relations. He demanded to take the virginity off the young girl and engage in an orgy along with her mother in bed. The woman said that she was very upset by this, but she didn’t trust police and this is why she didn’t demand help there. A few days ago, while the situation was aggravating, she addressed to a local journalist. This marked the start of a series of registrations which revealed for the public other ugly aspects of officials who deal with the problems of the citizens.

It’s easily discerned by the conversation that the woman has had sexual relations with the pervert, but forced to do so. But, Cane was now asking for more, an orgy with the child. An outrageous part where Cane claims that next year he would run for the mayor of Saranda was this one: “I, you and the girl will all three be in bed. Under your guidance, she will be your student. So, phone her, as I’m looking forward to her. I’m obsessed by your daughter. Her friends have done this before her. I can assure you on this. She will be relieved because she has many hormones. The girl needs sex. I’m not a maniac, as I have a wife at home. I like good things and I take pleasure on doing this. I don’t want to say a lot, but if I’m elector mayor, your daughter will have a future”.

State Police reacted by arresting the suspect, Agron Cane, married, father of two children.

Kokedhima condemns the “maniac act”

The socialist MP, Kokedhima reacted after the event and said that “the ugly act and implication of Agron Cane in this story is strongly condemned”.

“We distance ourselves from such ugly perverse acts”, said Kokedhima.

In the press statement, the MP also published for the first time, the full identity of the woman who became an object of abuse in the office of the SP. Media and police had kept her name discreet.

This also shows that party offices are used for employments: “The woman who denounced this, came to our office at the start of the year in order to find a job and our office helped her to get a job at a private company in Saranda, where she worked for six months…”

Who is Kokedhima

Since the ‘90s, Koco Kokedhima became known after privatizing several state owned enterprises, thus becoming one of the biggest business people in Albania. In 1997 he entered the world of media when he founded the daily “Shekulli” newspaper, which soon became the biggest one in Albania and held this position for several years. Kokedhima also opened a national radio channel and a TV channel, and also a sport newspaper, a photographic agency, magazines, publishing houses, etc. Besides the media, he also bought a football team. During this period, he started the radio talk show called “How to become a millionaire”. Kokedhima claims that his wealth is estimated to amount to several hundred millions of Euros. Kokedhima is also known as one of the closest friends of the prime minister. Kokedhima entered politics in 2013, when he ran as an MP of the Socialist Party for the south of Albania.

Berisha: The pedophile is Kokedhima’s closest man

Former prime minister and current MP of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha says that “the pedophile Agron Cane is Kokedhima’s closest man. By using Kokedhima’s power and SP in Saranda, he asks the mother of four orphan children to offer him his daughter for sexual relations in exchange of a job”, Berisha says that after this scandal, “Rama-Kokedhima did everything with police and SP to shut the media up and end this scandal. After they failed, Rama, in violation with every law, sent Kokedhima to put pressure on the young girl during her interrogation at the police of Saranda”.

Berisha criticizes what he considers to be as Rama’s silence: “Although in this super scandal everything had developed the same as in horror films, Rama keeps quiet to convey a message to socialists and common citizens that this is his model of employment and solution to their problems”.

Rama: Evil has no place among us

Immediately after this, prime minister Edi Rama reacted on this event. He stresses the fact that police arrested the suspect and that the office of MP Kokedhima categorically distanced itself. Rama said that the 61 year old was expelled from the Socialist Party, by adding: “For us, evil has no party and no place among us”.

MPs, active in condemning the scandal

MP Albina Deda says that “one must offer money or sexual favors, or to have a serious previous conviction to get a job”, adding: “It’s clear that the state offices, the offices of the Socialist Party have turned into offices of abuse and perversity”.

MP Alban Zeneli says that this phenomenon has turned into a system: “Kokedhima’s assistant, who demands sexual favors from the minor in exchange of a job, is the creature of a system established by Edi Rama”. According to him, “the entire society is irritated and has raised its voice for the dirty stuff taking place in the office of the Socialist Party”.

Analysts offer their insights

Analyst Andi Bushati says that “the terrible scenes of a 61 year old who asks to have sex with a minor in the offices of the Socialist Party, are not only an object of anger for thousands of hopeless unemployed people, who live on the verge of poverty, who want a job and more opportunities in life, but it’s also a reflection of the situation in which we’re in, a great moment of reflection which tells us about our society, for its darkest side and for the weak links that tie the relations between this society with the people that govern it.”

Bushati says that “that part of the declaration issued by Kokedhima, which talks about the woman that has denounced this story, is outrageous. In a perverse manner, the woman’s name is revealed, something which has been done neither by police, nor by the media. They “forget” that she’s the mother of four children, who lives in a small town, where everyone knows everyone. In a more disgusting manner, the declaration says that the woman has been found a job by the SP office before. What does this mean: that she has found the job based on the services that she has offered (a low insinuation)? Or is this being done to show that even now, after the event, with more publicity and attention, people must continue to knock in the local offices of the SP because they can solve their problems there?”.

Analyst, Mero Baza, criticizes the regards that Kokedhima shows for the past of the pedophile and suggests: “Kokedhima should have denounced the crime after he was made aware and hand the criminal to police. After this, he should have offered a strong public apology, not because he was guilty, but because he was responsible for the people that he imposed upon us to govern our fate. The citizens of Saranda have not voted the pervert, neither his career as a military man or his vices as a pedophile, but the Socialist Party. Today, they have no explanation why their party trusted the fate of the citizens to a pervert. Nevertheless, the only thing that makes sense is the public apology. It’s a sign of humbleness and unification with the revolted citizens. The justification with his past as an officer, causes more irritation”.

Baze says that the scandal reveals how power is executed in the Socialist Party’s base. “Power is delegated to several informal offices, which receive letters and complaints and use them for personal power. The scandal turns down what the government has claimed about recruitments at the party’s base, standards of recruitment and quality of those who recruit. The pervert was not an employee of a job center in Saranda, but an employ of Koco’s office, who formally is a volunteer without pay, but who has more power than whoever works in job offices”.

Baze further suggests that “Koco Kokedhima is not to be blamed why a sexual pervert was found among the voluntaries, but he’s responsible for delegating power in an informal way, outside the structures of the state. We have job offices for employment, we have the municipality for complaints and we have police to report corruption… The parallel state of the MP is the start of the problem which fuels the courage to abuse up to this level of perversity”.

Publicist Nidela Hoxha Zenuni told IBNA that “every day we have to deal with such people, in work premises and everywhere else”. “Under the disguise of a normal man, who is often presented as a good man, lie scary monstrosities and perversities”. The publicist says that “pedophiles of such dimensions who circulate in high levels of society, show a high level of sophisticated criminality, and at the same time, an ordinary one”. /ibna/

Milo Yiannopoulos’s Pedophilia Comments Cost Him CPAC Role and Book Deal

WASHINGTON — Milo Yiannopoulos, a polemical Breitbart editor and unapologetic defender of the alt-right, tested the limits of how far his provocations could go after the publication of a video in which he condones sexual relations with boys as young as 13 and laughs off the seriousness of pedophilia by Roman Catholic priests.

On Monday, the organizers of the Conservative Political Action Conference rescinded their invitation for him to speak this week. Simon & Schuster said it was canceling publication of “Dangerous” after standing by him through weeks of criticism of the deal. And Breitbart itself was reportedly reconsidering his role amid calls online for it to sever ties with him.

Mr. Yiannopoulos’s comments, which quickly created an uproar online over the weekend, put many conservatives in a deeply uncomfortable position. They have long defended Mr. Yiannopoulos’s attention-seeking stunts and racially charged antics on the grounds that the left had tried to hypocritically censor his right to free speech.

But endorsing pedophilia, it seemed, was more than they could tolerate. The board of the American Conservative Union, which includes veterans of the conservative movement like Grover Norquist and Morton Blackwell, made the decision to revoke Mr. Yiannopoulos’s speaking slot and condemn his comments on Monday.

“We initially extended the invitation knowing that the free speech issue on college campuses is a battlefield where we need brave, conservative standard-bearers,” Matt Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union, said in a written statement.

Regarding Mr. Yiannopoulos’s comments, Mr. Schlapp called them “disturbing” and said Mr. Yiannopoulos’s explanation of them was insufficient.

Late Monday, Mr. Yiannopoulos said that he would hold a news conference on Tuesday to discuss his statements.

Mr. Yiannopoulos, who has railed against Muslims, immigrants, transgender people and women’s rights, is a marquee contributor to Breitbart News, where he serves as senior editor. He has amassed a fan base for his stunts and often-outrageous statements. But by Monday afternoon, his future at the website was being intensely debated by top management.

One Breitbart journalist, who requested anonymity to describe private deliberations, described divisions in the newsroom over whether Mr. Yiannopoulos could stay on. There was some consensus among staff members that his remarks were more extreme than his usual speech, the journalist said, and executives were discussing by telephone whether his apology was enough to preserve his position at the site.

A Breitbart representative declined to comment.

After the video was leaked on Twitter by a conservative group called the Reagan Battalion, Mr. Yiannopoulos denied that he had ever condoned child sexual abuse, noting that he was a victim himself. He blamed his “British sarcasm” and “deceptive editing” for leading to a misunderstanding.

But in the tape, the fast-talking polemicist is clear that he has no problem with older men abusing children as young as 13, which he then conflates with relationships between older and younger gay men who are of consenting age.

“No, no, no. You’re misunderstanding what pedophilia means,” Mr. Yiannopoulos says on the tape, in which he is talking to radio hosts in a video chat. “Pedophilia is not a sexual attraction to somebody 13 years old who is sexually mature. Pedophilia is attraction to children who have not reached puberty,” he adds, dismissing the fact that 13-year-olds are children.

The notion of consent, he says, is “arbitrary and oppressive.”

At one point in the video, an unknown speaker says that the behavior being defended by Mr. Yiannopoulos is akin to molestation by Catholic priests. Mr. Yiannopoulos responds, in an ironic tone, by crediting a priest for having helped develop his sexual technique.

Conservatives reacted with near unanimous disgust at the comments. Some expressed bewilderment that conference organizers would extend an invitation to Mr. Yiannopoulos in the first place, given his history of statements that have been offensive to blacks and Muslims, and have generally pushed the bounds of decency. Twitter has banned him.

“Colossal misjudgment,” Rich Lowry, editor of National Review, wrote on Twitter. “Now CPAC has put itself in the role of ‘censor.’ And for what? Some clicks and headlines?”

Until now, Mr. Yiannopoulos, a fervent supporter of President Trump, had emerged as something of a hero to many on the right, who saw in him an eager and willing combatant against a culture they believed was too politically correct. He became a star at Breitbart, the hard-right news outlet, and earned the admiration of Stephen K. Bannon, who was its publisher before becoming Mr. Trump’s chief White House strategist.

Mr. Yiannopoulos was just getting a foothold in the media. He recently appeared on the comedian Bill Maher’s HBO talk show, and aggressively taunted liberals without much pushback from the host. His book “Dangerous,” a free-speech manifesto and memoir that he sold in December to Threshold Editions, a conservative imprint within Simon & Schuster, had shot to the top of Amazon’s best-seller list, based on advance orders.

The publisher had encountered mounting criticism of its relationship with Mr. Yiannopoulos. The author Roxane Gay withdrew from her contract for a book with a Simon & Schuster imprint in protest.

The company stood by Mr. Yiannopoulos even as his planned lecture at the University of California, Berkeley, was canceled after rioting.

But in a terse statement late Monday, the publisher said it was canceling the book “after careful consideration.”

In a statement released through his agent, Mr. Yiannopoulos said: “The people whose views, concerns and fears I am articulating do not sip white wine and munch canapés in gilded salons. And they will not be defeated by the cocktail set running New York publishing. Nor will I.”

The decision is likely to be a costly one for Simon & Schuster, which may not be able to recover the portion of the reported $250,000 advance it had already paid to Mr. Yiannopoulos. “Dangerous” had sold just under 50,000 copies, according to his literary agent, Thomas Flannery Jr., who said he planned to find another publisher.

Correction: February 23, 2017
An article on Tuesday about the fallout from comments by the Breitbart editor and provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos that seemed to condone sexual relations with boys overstated what is known about the cancellation of his planned lecture at the University of California, Berkeley, this month. The event was canceled after rioting occurred, not necessarily after students rioted. (While students may have been involved, no one has identified and interviewed every person involved in the riots, so their affiliations are not known.)

Why Men Put Needles In Their Balls Even Though It's DANGEROUS

Women are not alone when it comes to trying out ridiculous medical procedures all in the name of beauty.

There's a new guys-only trend rising in cosmetic surgery and it's guaranteed to make you cringe. Men are having Botox injected into their scrotums to reduce sweating and the appearace of wrinkles.

I do not even have a penis and the very idea of sticking a needle full of botulism toxin into my ballsack has me wincing in a very real way.

It's easy as a woman to feel smug about this rising trend in dudes tending to their penises and scrotums with high-end, needless, medical procedures. It feels like the shoe is finally on the other foot. For years we've been injecting ourselves, not to mention peeling and lifting and toning and waxing, why shouldn't men feel exactly the same sort of pressure to look and feel forever beautiful and forever young?

But because I am a decent human being I cannot truly revel in the burning ashes of the male ego.

Instead I've got to be logical and say, "Guys, don't get botox in your balls, your balls are near your penis, it's not necessary and actually really, really high risk."

For one thing, balls are SUPPOSED to be wrinkly. That's the way they are designed. The muscles that give the scrotum that wrinkly appearance are called the Dartos muscles. They are responsible for keeping the testicles mobile within the scrotal sack.

The testicles need to be mobile because the sperm they house is very, very sensitive. When the air gets too cold, the Dartos muscles contract, lifting the testicles up closer to the body for warmth. When it's too hot out, they retract, cooling off the testicles before the sperm can boil to death.

Botox in your scrotum in a best case scenario stops your balls from doing something that they need to do.

I thought being super fertile was one of the cliched ways men took pride in their masculinity? If that's the case why undergo a procedure that, even if performed "correctly" could hamper their ability to get a woman knocked up?

The other reason men are getting the procedure done in droves is because of ball sweat. I hate to break it to you dudes, but your penis and your balls NEED to sweat. The shaft of the penis and the scrotum are notoriously sweaty. Why? For the very same reason that the Dartos muscles exist inside the scrotum. Sweating helps regulate temperature which in turn keeps your sperm from slow cooking in the crock pot that is your junk.

Great, now I've ruined slow cooking for myself, thanks for NOTHING, Botox.

Most doctors advise against getting "scrotox", which makes sense given everything we've covered above, but human beings love to change things about themselves, even if there's a biological reason for the design in question.

I don't want you to think I'm a hypocrite. I'm only 33, and outside of getting some questionable moles removed, I've yet to have any plastic surgery. But I'm not ruling it out for myself. Beauty and self-perception are constantly evolving, and if that means one day I want to get a brow lift because I think it will make me feel happy, I will get that brow lift.

By the same token, I understand why a man might want to get "scrotox". It's for the same reason some women get breast lifts or a tummy tuck: they aren't feeling as good about themselves as they once did and they know that this procedure is something that could help change that.

Cary Grant was one of the first to benefit from LSD therapy

Today, research on the effects of psychedelics is one of the most exciting fields of psychology. The US Food and Drug Administration recently approved a clinical trial to test if the psychedelic compound in ecstasy can treat PTSD; psilocybin, the key ingredient in magic mushrooms is now considered a promising treatment for depression; and studies suggest that LSD could help combat alcoholism. There’s still plenty of red tape and skepticism, but it feels like scientists are well on their way to establishing the health benefits of these powerful drugs.

It feels terribly cutting edge, but such research is, in fact, old. Before LSD became a party drug, it was used to treat conditions like alcoholism, PTSD, and depression. And, as a new documentary on Cary Grant explores, the actor was one of the first to experience LSD in a psychiatric setting.

According to the film, Becoming Cary Grant, the actor first tried LSD at the Psychiatric Institute of Beverly Hills in 1958 and took the drug 100 times over the following three years. He was effusive about the results, as Vanity Fair reports, telling Look magazine in 1959, “at last, I am close to happiness.” He viewed the treatment as a way of resolving childhood trauma and coming to terms with the ends of difficult marriages; after starting his LSD treatment, Grant realized, “all my life, I’ve been going around in a fog.”

Though LSD had been used as treatment for a few years previously, Grant’s enthusiasm helped popularize the then-little-known drug. In total, from 1950-1965, around 40,000 patients were prescribed LSD to treat a variety of conditions. The drug was little known at first but gradually increased in popularity before US drug safety regulations began to restrict its use in 1962. In 1966, possession of the drug was made illegal in the US.

The backlash against LSD—partly attributed to negative experiences of the drug, or bad trips, and partly to its association with the political counterculture of the time—was closely linked not just to its recreational use, but also the lack of rigor around psychological research at the time. Timothy Leary, a Harvard psychologist who was studying the psychological effects of psychedelics in the late 1950s and early 1960s, was not allowed to continue working at the university in 1963, in part due to his sloppy research. Leary was accused of giving psychedelics to undergraduates without medical supervision and, after leaving academia, went on to promote psychedelics with the phrase, “Turn on, tune in, drop out.” Then-president Richard Nixon reportedly called him “the most dangerous man in America.”

But though early research in LSD as therapy has a decidedly mixed reputation, Robin Carhart-Harris, head of Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London, says that much of the work undertaken in the 1950s and ‘60s was actually quite strong.

“It’s easy for us to be derogatory about the old research but they were asking all the questions we’re asking now,” he says, “Perhaps the methods weren’t as tight as they are today but, even so, there was a fair amount of good work.”

Today, he says researchers are “more privileged.” Brain imaging has been instrumental in navigating the effects of psychedelics and there are now standard rating scales for measuring depression, for example, as well as careful placebo control procedures and a greater awareness of biases.

Carhart-Harris says he and his colleagues occasionally read through older literature. It can feel reassuring, he says, to see that the effects they’re finding today were also noted decades ago.

“In a way we’re re-inventing the wheel, but we’re doing it with the knowledge and methods we have now,” he says. “You can think of the old literature as being quite extensive and rich but also a little loose and quite poetic.”

Herbert Kleber, professor of psychiatry and substance-abuse researcher at Columbia University, notes that the smaller doses used today are far safer than in previous decades. While working on narcotics addiction at the US Public Health Service Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky (now called the Federal Medical Center) in 1965, Kleber conducted research into LSD’s potential as a treatment treatment for addiction.

He did not get far in his research, and though he believed there were early signs that the drug could be useful for breaking addiction cycles, he also saw plenty of bad trips. “I remember there was a painting on the wall and under the influence of LSD, one patient [in the study] saw the painting come off the wall and chase him around the room,” he says. “Another one tried to break down a door because he was convinced his wife was on the other side and we were keeping her from him.” Kleber was interested in testing the drug at a lower dose, he says, but LSD was banned soon after.

Despite the downsides, researchers were uncovering the potential value of LSD. Carhart-Harris points out that prominent figures such as senator Robert F. Kennedy were supportive of the research, and went to bat for LSD in Washington, DC. “If they [LSD experiments] were worthwhile six months ago, why aren’t they worthwhile now?” Kennedy asked the FDA in 1966, after research on the drug was banned. “Perhaps to some extent we have lost sight of the fact that [LSD] can be very, very helpful in our society if used properly.”

But research into the medical benefits of psychedelics stalled in the late 1960s. “[Cultural attitudes] are very powerful and they stick,” says Carhart-Harris. “We’re the victims of that, and so are patients to some extent—victims of this stigma and misinformation.” As a result, there are no approved medicinal uses for LSD, but both Kleber and Carhart-Harris agree there’s evidence the research should continue. “If you have a compound that seems to be beneficial, works in a novel way, and does something different than currently available treatments, then you could really question the ethics of withholding funding,” says Carhart-Harris.

The good news is that, thanks in part to tighter research methods, government agencies are starting to loosen up restrictions on studying psychedelics. Psychologists are now picking up a decades old experiment. “We’re both catching up and advancing,” adds Carhart-Harris.

But there’s no guarantee that the trend will hold. “I don’t want to be too naive and say, ‘it’s just not going to happen this time because we’ve learnt from the mistakes of the past,’” says Carhart-Harris. After all, he adds, in politics, “anything can happen.”

Teen auctions off her virginity to pay for college and a car

An 18-year-old is chasing her “dream” of auctioning off her virginity to the highest bidder — so she can pay for college and buy a car.

The half-Austrian, half-German, brunette — known only as “Kim” — said she jumped at the chance after hearing about a Romanian model who collected close to $3 million dollars for her v-card, according to her listing on the infamous site Cinderella Escorts.

The “18 year old and [5’8”] tall, school student is a checked up virgin and her dream is to sell her virginity,” Kim’s profile on the site reads.

“After I read about other virgins who sold their virginity…I asked myself one question. Should I give my virginity to a man who later on maybe will break up with me or is it better to take a lot of money instead,” the profile reads.

The website says virginity is proven with a doctor’s note, and bidders are free to do their own tests to “inspect” the girl and make sure she’s not faking it, according to The Sun.

Kim wrote she wants to study in Germany or Vienna and aims to use the dough to buy an apartment, a car and pay for tuition with the money she receives.

Her minimum bid is about $112,000 and her profile boasts a love for fitness, Greek food and Dior perfume.

Profile of Dennis Rader - The BTK Strangler

Dennis Lynn Rader:

On Friday, February 25, 2005 suspected BTK Strangler, Dennis Lynn Rader, was arrested in Park City, Kansas and later charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder. The day following his arrest Wichita Police Chief Norman Williams announced in a press conference, "the bottom line is that BTK has been arrested."

Rader's Early Years:

Rader was one of four sons to parents William and Dorothea Rader.

The family lived in Wichita where Rader attended Wichita Heights High School. After a brief attendance in 1964 to Wichita State University, Rader joined the U.S. Air Force. He spent the next four years as a mechanic for the Air Force and was stationed abroad in South Korea, Turkey, Greece and Okinawa.

Rader Leaves the Air Force:

After the Air Force he returned home and began working on obtaining his college degree. He first attended Butler County Community College in El Dorado then transferred to Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina. In the fall of 1973 he returned to Wichita State University where in 1979 he graduated with a major in Administration of Justice.

A Work History With A Common Thread - Access:

While at Wichita State he worked part time in the meat department at an IGA in Park City. From 1970 to 1973 he was an assembler at the Coleman Company, assembling camping gear and equipment. From November 1974 to July 1988 he worked for a home security company, ADT Security Services, where he had access to homes as an installation manager. It has also been noted that the business increased as community fear of the BTK killer increased. From 1990 until his arrest in 2005, Rader was a supervisor of the Compliance Department at Park City, a two-maned, multi-functional department in charge of "animal control, housing problems, zoning, general permit enforcement and a variety of nuisance cases." His performance in his position was described as "overzealous and extremely strict" by neighbors.

He also served as a census field operations supervisor in 1989. Active in Church and a Club Scout Leader:

Radar married Paula Dietz in May, 1971 and had two children after the murders began. They had a son in 1975 and a daughter in 1978. For 30 years he was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church and was an elected president of the Congregation Council. He was also a Cub Scout leader and was remembered for teaching how to make secure knots.

The Trail That Led Police To Rader's Door:

Enclosed in a padded envelope sent to the KSAS-TV station in Wichita was a purple 1.44-megabyte Memorex computer disk that the FBI was able to trace to Rader. Also during this time a tissue sample of Rader's daughter was seized and submitted for DNA testing. The sample was a familial match to the semen collected at one of the BTK crime scene.

The Arrest of Dennis Rader:

On February 25, 2005 Rader was stopped by authorities while in route to his home. At that point several law enforcement agencies converged on Rader's home and began searching for evidence to link Rader to the BTK murders. They also searched the church he belonged to and his office at City Hall. Computers were removed at both his office and his home along with a pair of black pantyhose and a cylindrical container.

Rader is Charged With 10 BTK Murders:

On March 1, 2005 Dennis Rader was officially charged with 10 counts of first-degree murder and his bond set at $10 million. Rader appeared before Judge Gregory Waller via video conference from his jail cell and listened to the 10 counts of murder read against him, while family members of his victims and some of his neighbors watched from the courtroom.

Family Response:

It is believed that Paula Rader, who has been described as a gentle and soft spoken woman, was shocked and devastated by the events that transpired with the arrest of her husband as were her two children. As of this writing, Mrs. Rader has not been to visit Dennis Rader in prison and she and her daughter are reportedly out of state in seclusion.

Update: On June 27, 2005, Dennis Rader plead guilty to 10 counts of first-degree murder then calmly told the court the chilling details of the "Bind, Torture, Kill" slayings that terrorized the Wichita, Kansas area between 1974 and 1991.

His performance in his position was described as "overzealous and extremely strict" by neighbors.

Europe is doomed. Once terrorists have understood that arson everywhere is a cost that even Europe cannot shoulder, the European era will end. Time to dispose of Euro bonds.
